Our intention, with this essay, is exploring.

Or, rather, to explore.

To explore what?

Projects. Quests. Paths.

But, also, adventures, experiments, journeys; and so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

You can find a further clarification of this basic idea in the section right below.

So, with all of that in mind, let’s begin!

A Vision Of Adventure

Our vision of adventure is rooted within one particular idea: adventure is infinite.

Or, more specifically, there are infinite adventures, quests, projects, experiments — ad infinitum — available to you.

You can find a lot more about this idea, and its endless intricacies, by reading the essays listed below:

The essay you are about to read engages with the ideas clarifies within those essays. But, it does so, within, and through, a slightly unique lens: projects.

Or, more specifically, projects, undertakings, works; ad infinitum.

Right now, within this moment, connected to and beyond and right next to — ad infinitum — an infinitude of passions, interests, topics, themes — ad infinitum — there are infinite projects, undertakings, works; ad infinitum.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

A Quick Definition

The definition of “project” is “an individual or collaborative enterprise that is carefully planned to achieve a particular aim.”

Or, at least, that is Google’s definition.

Our definition of “project” is similar, but with far less emphasis placed on the “particular aim” element.

A project can contain a neverending variety of activities, tasks, acts, plans, movements; ad infinitum.

You can consider the medium, as it were, of “projects” to be infinitely flexible and, in turn, endlessly vast.

Our essay, and its various methods/systems, explore this notion.

Right before we dive into the ways in which you can find, make, and enjoy — ad infinitum, of course — infinite projects, undertakings, works — ad infinitum — for, and regarding — ad infinitum — your passions, interests, fascinations, delights — ad infinitum — we will clarify seven of the infinite infinities within this concept.

Or, at least, something like that; sorry for the word salad found above.

A New Vision Of Infinity

Our vision of adventure, exploration, projects — ad infinitum — is infinite.

And, furthermore, it is infinite, in an infinite number of ways, manners, forms; ad infinitum.

You can find nine of these infinities right below:

  • A neverending wealth of projects, goals, undertakings, works — ad infinitum — exist, are contained within this concept, can be generated, found, made; and so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad inifnitum.
  • You can navigate these infinities by transcending infinity and going through transcendent visions of time, space, language, and quantity — ad infinitum — for endless eternities and, no matter what, there are no endings, limits, boundaries, walls, conclusions; ad infinitum.
  • Even if you transcend infinity, the notion of “endings/limits,” language, and anything else that happens to be adjacent to this, while going into an infinite wealth of higher dimensions, there are still no “endings.”
  • You can go beyond notions of numbers, sets, quantities, language — ad infinitum — across endless higher conceptual levels, dimensions — ad infinitum — of infinity, vastness, transcendence — ad infinitum — and, of course, there are no endings, limits, walls, boundaries; ad infinitum.
  • Every project contains, and generates, within itself, endless projects, adventures, quests, paths; and so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.
  • A single project can, and sometimes does, contain an infinite wealth and abundance — ad infinitum — of acts, activities, tasks, focuses — ad infinitum — within itself.
  • Outside of projects, there are infinite, endless — ad infinitum — variations and novel forms — ad infinitum — of such a notion and its endless infinitudes, endless vastness, infinite transcendence; ad infinitum.
  • Every project can, and often does, lead to and create and allow for — ad infinitum — infinite experiences, moments, ideas, concepts, possibilities, potentials; ad infinitum.
  • You can move across these endless infinities for endless eternities and visions that go beyond eternity, time, numbers, math, consciousness — ad infinitum — and, no matter what you do or accomplish — ad infinitum — you will never find or make or experience — ad infinitum — any manner of endings, limits, walls, boundaries — ad infinitum — or, even, what transcends or lies infinitely beyond — ad infinitum — such things; ad infinitum.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

A Quick Overview Of Our Methodology

To make use of the methods you are about to learn, you must make two lists:

  • A list of your passions.
  • A list of your interests.

Or, at least, something to that effect.

The difference between those two things is murky. But, just as a general rule, a passion is something that you really love, while an interest is something that holds your attention/fascination.

Give yourself a few minutes to produce a list with five passions. And, then, give yourself a few more minutes to produce another list with five interests.

You can find five of my passions right below:

  • Reading.
  • Infinity.
  • Coming up with methods, systems, processes; ad infinitum.
  • Big ideas.
  • Manifesting.

And, you can find five of my interests, right below:

  • Transcendent Science-Fiction/Fantasy.
  • Lateral thinking.
  • Cities around the world.
  • Games and game design.
  • Films, movies, and television.

We are going to take four of those and, then, we are going to dive into them.

Passion/Interest 01: Coming Up With New Methodologies, Systems, Processes; Ad Infinitum

Our first passion/interest is “coming up with new methodologies, systems, processes; ad infinitum.”

To find and/or make — ad infinitum, of course — a neverending wealth of projects, works, undertakings — ad infinitum, you get again — for, and regarding — ad infinitum — this passion/interest, we will dive in.

If we dive into this passion/interest, you get the following projects:

  • You can turn the idea of methods, systems, processes — ad infinitum — into a paracosmic story/vision.
  • You can come up with new methods, systems, processes — ad infinitum — for big goals/visions.
  • You can outline systems, methods, processes — ad infinitum — for making/finding methods; ad infinitum.
  • You can come up with new types, as it were, of methods, systems, processes; ad infinitum.
  • You can develop new definitions and metaphors — ad infinitum — for methods, systems; ad infinitum.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

And, if we dive into some of the projects outlined above, we get:

  • You can turn the idea of methods, systems, processes — ad infinitum — into an endless method, system, processes — ad infinitum — generator named “Mahina.”
  • You can turn “Mahina” into a story/essay, with strong metaphysical components, vivid imagery, as well as a practical, if fictional, component.
  • You can “channel,” as it were, “Mahina,” and see if you can find or come up with — ad infinitum — methods, systems, processes — ad infinitum — with greater ease, flow, or delight; ad infinitum.
  • You can develop new words and terms — ad infinitum — that refer to notions similar to methods, but unique, foreign, otherworldly, and alien.
  • You can develop visual metaphors, landscapes, and worlds that center on endless methodologies, systems, processes — ad infinitum — as well as other, related, ideas.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

Some of those aren’t very good. But, some of them are very good. And, one of them turned into an essay titled “A Neverending Library And An Infinite Method Matrix.”

Passion/Interest 02: Big Ideas

Our vision of “big ideas” may differ from yours.

You see, our big ideas — our favorite ideas, truly — are vast. But, they are vaster than even vastness itself; they are ergodic, rich, kinetic, fiery, metaphorical; ad infinitum.

You can find more about our “big ideas,”and the passion that they invoke, in an essay titled “A Secret Passion.”

If we ask “What are ten projects related to this passion/interest?” the following projects arise:

  • You can turn the act of generating/finding big ideas into simple, easy, fun games.
  • You can experiment with these games and see which ones work.
  • You can make games that allow you to find/make ideas that are bigger than your big ideas.
  • You can use lateral thinking tools/processes — ad infinitum — to explore your big ideas.
  • You can write an essay on how your big ideas evolved, while speculating on how they might evolve.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

If we ask “What are five projects related to, say, the first one?” the following projects arise:

  • You can go over the history of these ideas and turn specific aspects of their development into games.
  • You can produce an essay series that explores, and outlines, those games.
  • You can systematically use, and refine, those games, turning them into a book.
  • You can read about game design and design games for ideas, concepts — ad infinitum — of all sorts.
  • You can create a new, vast, paracosmic notion that is a combination of “games” and “big ideas.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

Passion/Interest 03: Transcendent Science-Fiction/Fantasy

Our third passion/interest is “transcendent Science-Fiction/Fantasy.”

Specifically, works, within those genres, that evoke an experience of the transcendent.

If we dive into the projects within this passion/interest, we get:

  • You can go over the Science-Fiction/Fantasy that evoked an experience of the transcendent and, then, clarifying why they did.
  • You can use the information outlined above to develop a system, of that sorts, that will make it easier for you to find works of that sort.
  • You can create another system that involves combining transcendent ideas, notions, concepts — ad infinitum — with other such things, allowing you to create your own transcendent ideas with ease; ad infinitum.
  • You can write your own transcendent Science-Fiction/Fantasy stories, especially if you use the system outlined above to find ideas for these stories.
  • You can develop essays that go over, and creatively expand upon, the transcendent ideas you have come up with.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

If we try to think of projects adjacent to those above, we get the following:

  • You can create new systems of ideation that allow you to find and create, with ease, new, transcendent ideas rooted within Science-Fiction, Fantasy, and other such things.
  • You can produce essays that explore, and expand upon, these ideas; as fictions, that is, within the context of fiction.
  • You can turn these ideas into practical concepts and, then, you can develop practical methodologies and systems that allow you to, somehow, use or employ these concepts.
  • You can outline how you might bring the more fictional, elaborate, and/or dreamlike ideas into reality; a system or two for bringing them to fruition, just as an example.
  • You can start a Reddit post about transcendent Science-Fiction/Fantasy and discuss it with those who are also interested in this type of fiction.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

Passion/Interest 04: Lateral Thinking

Our fourth passion/interest is “lateral thinking.”

Just for clarity’s sake, lateral thinking is, in essence, creative thinking. But, with a greater emphasis on thinking in a non-linear manner, beyond traditional patterns, habits, and assumptions.

And, with that in mind, if we ask “What are five projects related to, or rooted within, lateral thinking?” we get:

  • You can read ten of the best books about lateral thinking.
  • You can take notes on each one of those books and, then, apply some of their practices/ideas.
  • You can turn “lateral thinking” into a paracosmic notion, in line with our “secret passion.”
  • You can produce a series of essays on “lateral thinking.”
  • You can develop your own lateral thinking practices that are then turned into a book.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

If you ask “What projects are adjacent to our first project?” you get the following:

  • You can turn the idea of “reading ten books” into a methodology for expertise.
  • You can turn that idea into an essay that people can read and use to become an expert.
  • You can develop a lateral thinking methodology for expertise, new ideas, and other things.
  • You can apply this methodology to five or ten different topics, themes; ad infinitum.
  • You can become an “expert” on five topics and see how that changes your life; ad infinitum.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

Conclusion

Just to wrap this up, if you read this essay, thank you so much!

My goal was to produce something truly revelatory.

But, unfortunately, this essay seems to miss the mark.

The inspiration was there. And, the vision was there.

Something was missing, though. And, for that, my apologies.

No matter what, though, thank you for reading!
