You Create Blessings

Our subject today is your creative power.

Your creative power and the ways in which you employ this power.

Rather than clarifying the ways in which you can employ this power — this will come up later, though — we are going to clarify the ways in which you already employ your creative power.

And, then, you will learn about an experiment.

A simple, fun experiment that allows you to experiment with your creative abilities.

Regardless of what this essay contains, my hope is that it brings you joy and inspiration!

You Are A Creator

You are a creator.

Yes, you!

You are a creator and you create every single day.

What do you create?

Many, many things.

Some of the things you create include:

  • Unique Memories
  • New Ideas
  • Your Own Unique Possibilities
  • Distinct Perspectives
  • New Skills
  • Paths Towards Your Goals
  • Unique Experiences That Turn Into Memories
  • Pleasant Conversation
  • Valuable Friendships
  • Tasty Food

And so on and so forth.

You might say that some of these aren’t really “creation” or “creativity.”

Rather, memories are, in essence, the product of outer experiences. And, new skills aren’t “created” so much as they are “developed.”

None of that is wrong, per se. But, the thing is, it all comes from you.

You are the one who chooses to develop the skills you wish to develop and to reshape yourself in accordance with your chosen skills and all that they entail and imply.

You are the one who shapes and reshapes the experiences that come from your choices into stories that you can tell, retell, and experience time and time again.

The same notion applies to each and every one of the examples above, as well as so many others.

You Create Blessings

You are a creative being and you are a creator.

And yet, it’s very easy to forget this.

To forget who you are and what you are.

To forget the infinite possibilities you can give life to.

To forget the power and agency you possess and are.

Forgetting is not, in and of itself, a bad thing.

But, forgetting who you are, and acting in a way that precludes your creative abilities from presenting themselves, is unfortunate.

Your life can be rich and grand and lovely and blessed.

Stepping into your creative power is only one way of creating such a life, and it happens to be one of the easiest, most enjoyable ways available.

To remember who you are, experimentation is necessary.

Experimentation and exploration.

You cannot truly believe, and act upon, an idea, unless you’ve experienced it for yourself.

Or, perhaps, that isn’t true. In fact, it probably isn’t.

Still, it’s worth experimenting and exploring, as doing so is both fun and illuminating.

One experiment you may find both useful and enjoyable is centered on blessings.

You create blessings.

Really, you do.

And, this experiment proves that, while also allowing you to further hone your skills, as a creator of blessings.

Right before we dive into this experiment, it’s important to remember that a “blessing” is: a beneficial thing for which one is grateful; something that brings well-being.

A gift. A lovely, lovely gift.

With this definition in mind, there’s one more thing to remember: your job, with this experiment, is not to define the blessings you are creating.

You can. Don’t get me wrong, you can.

But, that isn’t your job.

Rather, your job is to choose to create blessings and, then, to enjoy and experience those blessings as the surprise gifts they truly, truly are!

Your Experiment

Your experiment consists of three simple, easy components.

The first component is, very simply, conducting an inner conversation.

You can read more about inner conversations here.

During your inner conversation, please affirm the following notions:

  • You Create Blessings
  • You Appreciate Being Able To Create Blessings
  • You Are Choosing To Create Blessings Right Now
  • Your Blessings Are For Yourself And Others
  • You Are Excited To Enjoy And Experience These Blessings
  • You Recognize That These Blessings May Go Beyond Your Expectations
  • You Recognize That These Blessings May Take You Even Further Than You Expected
  • You Are Appreciative And Excited

You can affirm these notions in any way you want.

No matter the form your conversation takes, though, there is a second component you must embrace: feeling it real.

All throughout your conversation, remember to:

  • Experience A Genuine Sense Of Appreciation
  • Experience A Genuine Sense Of Power
  • Experience A Genuine Sense Of Excitement

Conjuring these feelings isn’t always easy. Even the most compelling inner conversation may fail to produce these feelings.

To make this easier, there’s a third component to embrace. A third component that consists of the following actions:

  • Sit Down
  • Relax
  • Smile
  • Take Some Deep Breaths
  • Allow Yourself To Be Fully Invested Within The Moment

You can engage with this inner conversation while on a walk or in the shower.

But, for the best, most productive experience, sit down, relax, and focus.

Give yourself a few minutes to sit down, relax, and focus on the fact that you create blessings and are creating new blessings right now.

You can conduct this experiment for as many days as you want.

No matter the number of days, though, remember to set aside a few minutes, at the very least, to affirm your creative power and create blessings.

If your experience is anything like mine — and, something tells me it will be, or even better — you will be pleasantly surprised at what comes forth.

Conclusion

Remember, you are a creator and, as such, you create blessings.

Please remember that and please act upon this knowledge.

No matter what you choose to do, though, thank you so much for reading this essay!
