Your Mood Distribution System
Our goal, with this essay, is to clarify a system.
A system you can use to command any mood you wish to experience.
Or, at least, that’s the basic idea.
You can use this system for more than just moods.
Rather, you can use this system for emotions, states, feelings; and so on and so forth.
And, with that in mind, let’s begin!
A Neverending Supply
You contain a neverending supply.
A neverending supply of the moods you wish to enjoy.
And, for that matter, a neverending supply of the states, feelings, and emotions you wish to enjoy.
You can go into this supply infinitely and endlessly, conjuring an infinite wealth of, say, inspiration or peace.
Even if you do so, though, you will never run out of those moods.
Rather, you will always have more to access and enjoy.
To employ the system outlined below, this idea is crucial.
Remember, you are not bound to a finite supply of what you are seeking.
You can, instead, access an infinite supply of what you wish to feel at any time.
And, just to reiterate, even if you step into a particular mood for, say, trillions of millenia, there will always be more and more — infinitely more — that you can access and enjoy.
Your Personal Mood Distribution System
To make use of the system outlined within the next section, you must imagine something.
You must imagine a system that exists within you.
Or, perhaps, outside of you: use what works for you.
To imagine this system, you must imagine a series of pipes.
Every single one of these pipes is connected to a central system.
Right within this central system, there are nozzles.
Every nozzle serves as the vessel through which a particular substance can come from.
And, in this case, that particular substance is moods.
Or, again, states, feelings, and emotions; and so on and so forth.
Each nozzle is connected to an infinite and inexhaustible source of moods.
You can activate every nozzle for an infinite wealth of eternities and never exhaust your supply.
Connected to every nozzle is a switch.
You can turn a switch and, then, the corresponding mood will flow out of the nozzle.
And, where does your selected mood go?
Into you and into this moment!
You can just activate the nozzle associated with “inspiration” and, then, you will become inspired.
Or, at least, that’s the basic idea: this might take a little bit of practice, if my experience is any indication.
Selecting The Mood You Wish To Experience
To make use of the system this essay has been leading to, you must first select a mood.
Your mood can be anything.
If you would like to be inspired, then you can be inspired.
If you would like to be grateful, then you can be grateful.
If you would like to be relaxed, then you can be relaxed.
If you would like to be passionate, then you can be passionate.
If you would like to be enthusiastic, then you can be enthusiastic.
And so on and so forth.
Outside of selecting the mood you wish to experience, you can, and perhaps should, select the context of your mood.
Just as an example, if there is a particular creative activity you wish to enjoy in a state of inspiration, then you can clarify this fact and then summon that state of inspiration while engaged with that creative activity.
No matter what you choose, though, there are three simple methods in which you can direct the flow of your mood distribution system.
Our first method involves clarifying the mood you wish to experience and, then, writing out ten things you appreciate about this mood and your experience of this mood.
Just as an example, if you wish to be at peace, you might write something like “I really appreciate that I am at peace and I feel relaxed and I really love this.”
Surrender to the flow of gratitude that comes from this act.
And, then, when you’re finished writing, allow yourself to know that this mood will arise.
You are directing the flow of your moods and, in doing so, you will experience peace.
No, this peace may right not instantly — although, it certainly can — but it will arise within you.
Our second method involves imagining the distribution system clarified in the previous section.
Just imagine yourself turning the nozzle associated with your desired mood.
And, then, imagine yourself shifting and changing, in accordance with your desired mood and what it engenders.
You can say “Thank you” for the mood that you will soon experience.
Our third method involves saying an “I am statement such as “I am inspired.”
And, in saying such a phrase, you must feel, on some level, that you are either experiencing that mood right now or that you will soon do so.
To conclude this method, you can say “I don’t know how it will happen, or when it will happen. But, I know that I will experience this mood and I am very grateful for that.”
You can then let it go and focus on something else.
Conclusion
Every single one of these methods has been of great use to me.
My hope is that they will be of great use to you.
