Wealth & Abundance

Our intention, with this essay, is sharing.

Sharing what?

A set of ideas you can use to live a wealthy, and abundant, life.

Some of these are rather disparate. But, these ideas work.

Or, at least, they have, within the confines of my own life.

Wealth & Abundance

The term “wealth” is defined as the following: an abundance of valuable possessions or money.

And, with the above in mind, the term “abundance” is defined as the following: a very large quantity of something.

Both of these definitions are sufficient. But, to me, “wealth” and “abundance” mean something else.

Right within “wealth” and “abundance,” there is the following:

  1. All of the money you want/need.
  2. Remarkable financial security.
  3. A deep sense of comfort, peace, and contentment.
  4. Happiness, love, and passion.
  5. Being exactly where you yearn to be.

And so on and so forth.

If you are wealthy and abundant, then you are living the life you truly, and so very deeply, yearn to live.

Or, at least, that is what the terms “wealth” and “abundance” evoke within me.

You Can Live The Life You Wish To Live

Right before we dive even more deeply into these ideas, there is one very important notion we must clarify.

You can live the life you wish to live.

Seriously.

If you want to live on the beach and write, read, and walk around all day, then you can.

Or, if you want to own a beautiful home somewhere in Oahu, then you can do that, too.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

You can live this life by setting intentions, taking action, envisioning what you desire; and so on and so forth.

Our concern is, primarily, with the latter.

If you can envision what you desire, and really feel it to the point that you believe, for a moment, that this desire is a present fact of your life, then your desire will become a fact of your life.

But, in order for you to do this, you must find something that encapsulates your desire.

Something simple. Something precise.

And, in turn, something beyond the conditions, worries, and assumptions you may hold, regarding your desire.

Just as an example, if you want a new job, you can imagine having a new job.

You can avoid defining the job you have. Or, in turn, the facts of this job.

Rather than focusing on such things, you can, instead, focus purely on having a new job that you absolutely adore.

If you can turn this into a simple symbol, phrase, or scene, that evokes the feeling of you enjoying this absolutely magical job, and if you saturate your mind with this long enough, you will get the wonderful job you want.

All of this is rooted in one, very simple, notion: there is a deeper mind within you that takes the lovely, lovely things you feed it and turns them into the facts, experiences, and moments that you enjoy.

That is my contention. And, this contention is what the rest of my essay explores.

I Choose Wealth & Abundance

Many of your wishes can, and do, fall under these two umbrella terms: “wealth” and “abundance.”

If you want a new job, for example, then this could be considered “wealth.”

Or, perhaps, it isn’t; you may want a new job for different reasons, such as purpose and passion.

Yet another thought is that you may want a beautiful home. And, this could be considered “abundance.”

Just as another thought, you may want a big, fat savings account.

If you do, then this could be considered “wealth.”

Every single one of these wishes is absolutely lovely.

You should want these things.

Or, more specifically, you should, if you resonate with them.

You can focus on these things. And, you can nurture them, within your mind.

By doing so, you can obtain what you want.

Or, at least, that’s the idea.

Sometimes, even if we focus really hard on something we really, really want, it’s hard to get it.

On some level, this makes sense.

Some things take time. Some things take effort.

And so on and so forth.

On another level, though, the things we really, really want are hard to get, for one very simple reason.

We cannot experience our fulfilled wish, because our wish is bound by conditions, assumptions, and worries.

Just as an example, if we want a job, then we may want a job with all sorts of specific conditions and details.

But, if we focus on these, and imagine them, our mind may get in the way.

Our rational mind may bring up all sorts of concerns, worries, and anxieties that prevent us from feeling our wish.

If that happens, then no matter how hard we work, we may not be able to give our deeper mind the wish.

And, if our deeper mind can’t accept our wish, then it may be harder for this wish to arrive.

Rather than conditioning our wishes, we can go to the end.

We can focus on wealth. We can focus on abundance.

If we focus on those two things, without even thinking of how they will arrive in our life, we will receive.

We will receive wealth. We will receive abundance.

To facilitate this, you can find three ideas, right below, that may help you:

  1. Turn your wish into a statement that evokes a nice, lovely feeling within you; “I am making so, so, so much money!” or “I am so, so, so wealthy!” among an infinite wealth of others.
  2. Convert your wish into a symbol that evokes a feeling of energy, love, and peace within you; seeing stacks of cash raining all over you or your bank account with an “infinity” symbol; ad infinitum, of course.
  3. Turn your wish into a simple, pleasant scene that saturates your mind with wealth/abundance; sitting on the porch of your beach house in the morning, drinking ice tea; among many, many others.

You can employ these ideas to go from where you are to the place in which you wish to be: wealth and abundance.

The key is twofold: really feeling it and being somewhat vague, so that it’s easier for you to really feel it.

Just as a final example, if you want to live a truly rich, abundant life, but aren’t sure what that might look like — this is a good place to be, in many ways — you might repeat the phrase “Life is good!” to yourself.

If you do this long enough, and really feel it, your life will become good.

Very, very good.

In ways that you expect. And, in many ways you do not expect, but greatly appreciate.
