Visions Of Numerical Transcendence

Our goal, with this essay, is exploring.

Exploring what?

Three visions of numerical transcendence.

And, with that, let’s begin.

Vision 01: A New Language

Our first vision is a space.

A conceptual space.

You can envision this space as a vast, endless void.

Pure darkness. Endless light. Infinite motion.

Right within this void, there are ten numbers.

The ten numbers are unimportant. But, just as an example, one of them may be “158.”

Every single one of these numbers serves as the inception of a process.

A process that plexes each one of these numbers infinitely, and endlessly, without any true limits.

Just as an example, if we plex the number “158” one time, then we get 158, followed by that number of zeros, which looks like:

158,00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000.

Right after this number is created, a new number, which serves as 158 with the number of zeros within this new number, is born.

The process goes on and on, infinitely and endlessly; no limits or endings or boundaries; ad infinitum.

Every single one of the ten numbers present within our conceptual space are plexed without limit.

Right as every year passes, a new set, of ten unique numbers, is born.

Just as an example, after the first year, ten more numbers are added, for a total of twenty.

The process continues for one-hundred years. And, the end result of this process is 1,000 numbers, all of which have been plexed, and are being plexed, infinitely and endlessly.

But, that’s not all.

Right as the one-hundred year period comes to an end, every single one of the numbers born from the process of plexing those one-thousand numbers is combined.

On its own, this is paradoxical; each process is infinite and, as such, has no ending or “final number” that can be combined.

But, let’s say that there is, in some way, a final number.

Or, a final form; something that arises from, perhaps, “pausing” this infinite process.

Yet another thought is that, perhaps, the combination that occurs comes from mixing these processes together.

The end result of combining these numbers, plexes, and processes is a singularity.

A singularity that gives birth to a new numerical language.

Our new numerical language contains, and gives birth to, numbers that are ineffable.

Every number, and digit, transcends finitude, and infinitude, emanating, and being grown from, a universe that exists beyond idea and form.

Our imaginations can interact with these numbers. But, we can never comprehend them, much less truly understand what they mean, the concepts they serve to interact with, or the vastness that they exist as, yet actively transcend.

The new numerical language that is born from this singularity transcends our consciousness.

Vision 02: A Relatively Simple Plex

Our second vision is far more simple than the first vision.

Or, for that matter, the third vision.

Just take the number “90.”

And, then, plex that number.

To plex the number 90, all you must do is add ninety zeros to it. Doing so looks like this:

90,000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000.

Big number, right?

Right after you create this number, you must take that new number and, then, add that number of zeros to it.

The number that you create will be, and is, absolutely vast. And, you would not be able to write it — or, really, even a fraction of its vastness — within your lifetime.

Just as an example, if you were to write out the number 90,000,000,000,000 — ninety-trillion, for simplicity’s sake; a mere fraction of the vastness that comprises the second number we created — it would take 2,880,000 years.

Or, again, for simplicity’s sake, 2.8 million years.

You would never be able to write the third number that arises from plexing 90 twice.

But, of course, our process does not end here.

You must plex that new, absolutely extraordinary, number. And, then, you must plex the number that arises from that new plex.

The process just keeps going, on and on, for another 86 plexes.

By the time this process ends, you will have a number that transcends your consciousness, your imagination, your perceptual abilities; and so on and so forth.

The final number will be, and is, ineffable.

Vision 03: Miyora

Our third vision is named “Miyora.”

Miyora is a function.

Or, perhaps, an activity.

No, my apologies.

Miyora is none of those things. But, what she is, is an idea.

A living, breathing idea,

Miyora exists within an endless sea of living, breathing ideas.

Our concern, though, is not with this sea.

Just imagine a singularity.

A singularity of pure motion, energy, and creation.

The singularity exists as a living wave within an ocean.

Right within a moment not unlike any other, this wave ascends from the ocean and, then, flows upwards, into the sky, piercing the void, the stars, the light; and so on and so forth.

The act of flowing upwards allows Miyora to move across an infinite number of levels, scales, bodies — ad infinitum — that, within the context of this vision, comprise an infinite network of Platonic idea-spaces.

Some of these idea-spaces are as follows:

  • Infinite dunes, sculpted from sand and wind.
  • Labyrinths made of language.
  • Crystalline cities that exist beyond our gaze.

Every single one of these idea-spaces serves as a mere point across an infinite network of levels, scales, and bodies — ad infinitum — that pertain to, yet actively transcend, infinity.

But, not just infinity; all that infinity interfaces with, works with, connects to; ad infinitum.

The end result of Miyora moving across these endless infinities, for a period of 158 billion years, is a concept.

A concept that is more than a concept; it is a network of ideas.

Every single one of these ideas actively transcends notions of sets, quantities, items, things, entities, that which is singular; ad infinitum.

Our visions of infinity are often rooted in such things. But, through Miyora’s active transcendence of language, form, idea, quantity, number — ad infinitum — these concepts become irrelevant.

The result, then, is transcendent languages, alphabets — ad infinitum — that give birth to new, and greater-than-infinite — concepts, visions, ideas, visions — ad infinitum — of quantities, sets, items, things; ad infinitum

Just as an example, if one were to use Miyora to navigate an infinite list, one would find that they can walk across an infinitude of items, bodies, sets, spaces — ad infinitum — with effortless ease, all while finding that, even though notions of quantities and, even, infinitude, have been transcended, this list remains infinite.

No endings. No limits. No boundaries.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

Our minds can never, ever comprehend these new, transcendent, visions of quantities, sets, items; ad infinitum.

Just as our minds can never, ever comprehend — truly comprehend — the vastness of infinity.

Conclusion

None of these are especially good.

My apologies.

The ideas that nurtured my interest in writing this essay were very compelling.

Our third vision, for example, really interested me.

My exploration of these ideas, though, was less than ideal.

My apologies for that.

Even so, though, thank you so much for reading!
