Transcendent Visions Of Infinity — Part 02

Our intention, with this essay, is to explore three new visions.

You can find “Transcendent Visions Of Infinity — Part 01” at that link.

Or, more specifically, to explore three new transcendent visions of infinity.

So, with that goal in mind, let’s begin!

Vision 04: A Neverending Wealth Of Levels

Our fourth vision is rooted in the idea of infinite levels.

Infinite levels. Endless floors. Unending depths.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

Just as an example, you can imagine a skyscraper, with infinite floors.

No matter how many floors you go through, you will never reach a final floor.

The reason for the above is simple: no final floor exists.

Just let your mind flow through the above. And, then, think about the idea outlined right below.

Every single skill, path, ability, pursuit — ad infinitum — is comprised of an infinite number of levels.

Levels. Heights. Depths.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

If you reach one level of skill, mastery, proficiency — ad infinitum — there are an infinite number of higher levels waiting for you.

No, this isn’t the most unique vision. But, it is a fun one.

Just imagine, say, coming up with ideas, and how, no matter how good you are at coming up with ideas, there are endless levels of greater ideation, better skill, higher abilities; ad infinitum.

Vision 05: A Shift In Perspective

Sometime in January, an image came to me.

A small, bug-like robot exploring an infinite ocean.

Clear blue water; endless vastness; infinite light.

Right as this image came to me, a thought flowed into me.

The ocean within this image is infinite. And, no matter how big this robot becomes, that remains true.

Just as an example, you can assume that this little robot is 5 centimeters.

Or, you can imagine that this little robot is, in fact, not so little at all; it is infinitely big.

No matter what, the image stays the same; the ocean is infinitely vast and, as a result of this, it will always lack endings, boundaries, limits, conclusions; ad infinitum.

On its own, this idea speaks to me. But, you can expand on it, with this idea.

You can imagine an infinite set of infinite books.

And, you can imagine going through one book, every second, for an endless wealth of eternities.

No matter what, you will never reach an ending, limit, or boundary; ad infinitum.

You can also imagine going through 158 billion books, every single second, for an endless wealth of eternities.

The same basic idea applies.

And, to wrap this up, you can imagine going through higher visions, ideas, notions, quantities — ad infinitum — of infinite infinities of infinite books, every second, and the same idea applies.

No endings, limits, boundaries, conclusions; ad infinitum.

Vision 06: No Matter What

Our sixth vision may appear somewhat nihilistic.

But, it isn’t meant to be; it’s meant to be fun, exciting, and delightful!

If something is infinite, then this means that there is nothing you can do, make, create, set — ad infinitum — to reach, find, create — ad infinitum — an ending, limit, boundary, conclusion; ad infinitum.

Or, well, something like that.

Something about that inspires me. Even if it is a little bleak.

Conclusion

Just to wrap this up, thank you so much for reading!

If you liked this essay, thank you! And, even if you didn’t, thank you!

Best wishes and have a great day!
