The Wonderful Possibilities Of Tetris — Introduction

Out of all the games that exist, Tetris may just be my favorite.

A variety of reasons exist for this. But, there is one reason, out of all the others, that may serve as the main reason: Tetris is a tapestry of possibility.

Right before we can dive into these possibilities, though, let’s go over what, exactly, the above means.

A Tapestry Of Possibility

The game of Tetris exists as a ritual.

A ritual that commands your attention and awareness.

Don’t get me wrong, most games do this. But, for me, Tetris is better at it than most.

And, as a ritual, Tetris allows for a wealth of possibilities to arise.

To arise from this ritual and to exist outside of the ritual.

Right within the ritual, though, there are a variety of other possibilities, as well.

Every single one of these possibilities involves, on some level, our own states of being as well as our ability to engage with information in a new, perhaps even transformative, manner.

But, why does this matter and what can this give you?

Your Possibilities

Every single one of the possibilities outlined within this essay series is for you.

You can, with the help of a game of Tetris, go beyond fear.

Or, for that matter, you can go beyond anxiety.

You can also enjoy music on a deeper level.

Or, command inspiration and wisdom.

None of these possibilities may seem related to Tetris, but they are and, even moreso, they are, within the context of this essay series and the game itself, rooted within the rituals of Tetris.

You can use all of the possibilities outlined above to live a rich, abundant life.

All with the assistance of a fun game of Tetris!

Seriously, it’s easy and fun and, yet, it works.

It works really, really well, and leads to such amazing things.

My hope is that you find this to be true for you, as well.

Conclusion

None of what this introduction — or essay series, for that matter — contains may be directly related to what my Medium blog has, traditionally, been all about.

But, at the same time, it is.

Seriously.

The essays within this Medium blog are rooted within themes of creativity, possibility, healing, and manifestation.

And, despite the fact that Tetris may seem unrelated to such things, it is not.
