The Infinity Of “What If?”

Our goal, with this essay, is to clarify a concept.

A rather unique concept that is, in many ways, more than just a concept.

Rather, this conception is a conception.

A grand conception that serves as a combination of questioning and infinity, among other, equally delightful, gifts and possibilities.

Our goal, then, is to clarify this conception.

To clarify this conception in a way that leads to inspiration and action.

And, with that, let’s begin!

A Neverending Abundance Of “What If?” Questions

Right now, within this moment, there exists a neverending abundance of questions.

You can ask these questions.

You can dive into these questions.

You can allow these questions to take you to new places.

And, in doing so, you will be rewarded.

Rewarded with novelty, possibility, creativity, friendship; and so on and so forth.

Our focus is not on all questions, though.

Rather, our focus is on “What if?” questions.

Every “What if?” question exists as a vehicle for new perspectives, possibilities, potentials, gifts, blessings, paths — and so on and so forth, perhaps endlessly and infinitely — to arise.

Our capacity to ask “What if?” questions is strong. But, that is not the capacity we should focus on developing.

Rather, our capacity to ask, and then act upon, our “What if?” questions is a tremendous power.

A tremendous power that can, and should, be developed.

The act of asking, and then acting upon, good “What if?” questions will allow us to grow, evolve, experience, and really live in ways that go beyond our current experience of both the world and ourselves.

Right before we dive into this capacity, though, there are two more concepts to share.

The “Infinite Set” Conception

Every single “What if?” question contains, within itself, an infinite number of sets.

Each and every one of these sets contains an infinite number of “What if?” questions.

And, of course, every single one of these “What if?” questions, within a set, contains an infinite number of sets that contain an infinite number of “What if?” questions; and so on and so forth, ad infinitum.

But, that’s not all.

Rather, every single “What if?” question also contains an infinite number of arrays, lists, folders, series; and so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

Every single one of these contains an infinite number of “What if?” questions and, well, you get the idea.

Right before we move onto the next concept, it’s worth mentioning that this isn’t true.

Or, rather, it might be true — let’s just say it is — but, at the same time, it isn’t.

Even though this concept isn’t “true,” per se, it is a fun way of conceiving, and expanding upon, infinity.

And, for this reason, that’s why it is in this essay.

Well, that, and the fact that this concept interests me a great deal, for whatever reason.

The Endless Possibilities Of “What If?” Questions

Every single “What if?” question offers an infinite number of unique possibilities.

Some of these possibilities are obvious. Others are far from it.

You can, to name ten examples, use “What if?” questions to:

• Develop a clear, concise vision of the new home you want to live in.
• Conjure the feelings you need to manifest a desire.
• Explore a fascinating idea.
• Go beyond your current identity/persona.
• Dive into a new world and, in doing so, learn how to make this world a reality.
• Explore a new life path.
• Develop new skills that align with your vision.
• Construct a plan of action that allows you to achieve your goals.
• Find themes that you wish to live by and, then, find ways of living those themes.
• Discover new ideas that appeal to you and, then, explore them in a new, exciting way.

And so on and so forth, infinitely and endlessly; ad infinitum.

Some of the ways in which these possibilities can arise may be slightly questionable. But, these possibilities exist and, as such, they can be embraced and enjoyed.

Ask Your “What If?” Questions

To make use of the infinite possibilities that “What if?” questions offer, you can ask more of them.

Or, more specifically, you can ask more “What if?” questions and, in doing so, actively engage with them.

Just see what happens when you ask a question and allow that question to unfold.

You might be asking a question about, say, pursuing a new career.

And, then, you can explore what that might look like, what you would be doing, what is necessary for you to have that career; and so on and so forth.

The possibilities are infinite. But, the possibilities are also available to you, right now, within this moment.

Conclusion

Many of the concepts outlined in this essay are far from being “true.”

But, with that being said, they are interesting.

And, they’re also quite fun.

My hope is that you agree with this assessment.

Even more than that, though, my hope is that some of this inspires you.

Inspires you to ask questions and pursue new possibilities.
