The Infinite Adventure

Our subject today is adventure.

But, that’s not our only subject today.

Rather, our subject today is adventure and, then, the infinite.

And yet, our subject today is, perhaps, neither of these things.

Our subject today is a unique conception of adventure that combines the infinite, and that which the infinite contains and allows for, as well as my own speculation.

None of what is seen in this essay is meant to be definitive or, even, truthful.

Rather, it is merely an exercise in combining some fun things together and shaping my world — and, perhaps, your world — through this act of play.

Your Infinite Adventure

Right now, within this very moment, there exists adventures.

But, not just ten adventures or ten-thousand adventures or anything of that sort.

Rather, there exists an infinite number of adventures.

You can go through this list — this infinite series of lists within lists, perhaps — for millions upon millions of years and millenia and all manner of other measurements.

You will never reach the end of this list.

Each one of these adventures is available to you, right now, within this moment.

But, that’s not all.

You see, “adventure” is a concept.

A concept and a notion and a definition and a category.

And, well, a number of other things, as well.

Right outside of “adventure” there lies other, related, concepts and notions and categories and definitions.

Some of these include:

• Journeys
• Quests
• Experiments
• Missions
• Explorations

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

You see, the number of concepts, notions, categories, and definitions — this, too, goes beyond measure, in its own way — pertaining to/related to “adventure” is infinite.

Each one is unique, novel, and distinct in its own way, allowing every single one of these…medium, let’s say, to fall into the infinite.

Right now, within this moment, there exists an infinite number of journeys, quests, experiments, missions, explorations; and so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

All of this is accessible to you, right now, within this moment.

But, that’s not all.

Infinite Depths

Every single adventure — along with every other medium we’ve shared — contains something.

Something special.

Right within every adventure, there exists an infinite number of sets.

What is a set?

“A group or collection of things.”

Every single one of the infinite sets within every adventure contains an infinite number of new, unique, and novel adventures.

You can wander throughout one set, within one adventure, for a limitless number of eons upon eons upon eons and, in doing so, you will never run out of new adventures.

But, that’s not all.

You see, every adventure — and, again, every single one of the other mediums we’ve shared — contains, within itself, an infinite number of series.

Series that are distinct from sets and, in turn, contain an infinite number of unique adventures.

But, that, too, is not all.

Every adventure contains not only a vast and infinite wealth of sets and series, but also an infinite number of lists and arrays, as well as an infinite number of other related mediums.

No matter the medium within the medium — sets within adventures, for example — there exists an infinite number of novel adventures within every single one of the sets or series or lists.

A Deeper Dive Into The Infinite Depths

Right before wrapping this up, there is one last thing to mention.

Every adventure contains an infinite number of sets and series and lists and arrays; ad infinitum.

And, every single one of these mediums contains an infinite number of other adventures.

Right within every single one of those adventures, within these sets or series or anything of that sort, is an infinite number of new sets and series and lists and so on and so forth.

But, of course, that’s not all.

You see, every adventure is unique and novel; distinctive and new.

So, what this means is that there is an infinite abundance of novelty, within this notion.

And, within this new notion of ours, there is something else.

Every adventure can, in its own way, give birth to an infinite wealth of unique gifts, possibilities, blessings, potentials, paths; and so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

Every adventure can also, in its own way, give birth to an infinite number of concepts, ideas, notions, paracosms; ad infinitum.

And, at the same time, every adventure can, in its own way, give birth to concepts and modes and methods and ways of being — and so on and so forth, without end — that allow for this very conception of adventure to grow and expand and transcend or become manifest in ways that are, perhaps, far more tangible and clear.

Really, though, this is enough and you probably get the idea.

The idea, in question, is an act of play.

A playful combination of different conceptions of both infinity and adventure.

A unique synthesis of some of my favorite things.

Does this particular conception of adventure really exist?

Yes. Yes, it does.

To me, anyway.

As a story, perhaps. A fun, exciting story that inspires me to live.

To really, really live.

Outside of that, though, it’s difficult to say.

Given our innate creative powers, let’s just say that this story is, in fact, true.

True in the same way that your stories are true.

Or, perhaps, true in the same way that your stories can become true, if you allow them to be.

Our capacity to create narratives is, in the end, one lovely facet of our innate creative power.

Conclusion

To those who are still with me, thank you so much!

None of this is meant to be particularly useful or practical or, really, of much value at all.

On its own, though, writing this essay was a lot of fun and playing with these concepts even moreso.

To those who are still here, my hope is that you enjoyed this little essay.
