The essay you are about to read furthers that premise.

You will, within this essay, learn about a device known as a “Storytelling Engine”.

You will learn a method that allows you to step into the Storytelling Engine.

For what purpose?

Inspiration.

Inspiration, and all that such a state entails.

My hope is that you enjoy this essay and that the method conjures the inspiration you desire.

A Grand Device

Somewhere, within a world that sits right alongside the edge of this one, there is a device.

A device known as a “Storytelling Engine”.

Just as the name suggests, a Storytelling Engine generates stories.

But, that’s not quite accurate.

Rather, a Storytelling Engine generates worlds.

No, not worlds.

A vast and infinite universe.

A neverending abundance of universes.

Each one rich with stories.

A neverending abundance of stories.

And, within these stories, there exists an infinite abundance of possibilities.

Every single one of these universes is available to you.

Every single one of these stories is available to you.

Every single one of these possibilities is available to you.

And, within these elements, there is inspiration.

And, within this inspiration, there is an unending series of blessings, gifts, paths, potentials, possibilities; and so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

You can use the guided imagery outlined below to embrace the infinite gifts available to you.

Your Story Begins Right Now

You close your eyes.

And, then, you awaken.

You are somewhere new.

Somewhere new and, yet, somewhere familiar.

You are sitting in a comfortable, quiet, peaceful space.

A space that appears to emanate from a grand, yet undeniably pleasant, futurist vision.

You are pleased to be in this space.

You are pleased to exist within this space.

You are pleased to be in this world.

And, yet, right now, that is not your focus.

Rather, within this space, on a desk, there is a device.

You walk over to the desk.

You observe your space, appreciating its aesthetic charm.

You reach the desk and appreciate its aesthetic resonance.

And, then, you sit on a chair.

A comfortable chair.

A cozy chair.

You take a look at the device.

Simple. Familiar.

And, yet, rather enchanting.

You place your hands on the device.

You experience the texture of the device.

And, then, you notice a button.

A nice button.

A button that strikes you as being rather pretty.

You press the button.

Your journey begins now.

Stepping Into The Dream

A vast assortment of images flow through you.

Every single one of these images contains a story.

Some are enchanting and enamouring.

Some far dreary and uninteresting.

You allow these images to flow by.

You allow the images to surprise you.

And, in the end, one image captures your attention.

A beautiful image. A striking image.

Right within this image, there are lives being lived.

And, right within these lives, there is so much.

So much beauty. So much love.

So many blessings. So many gifts.

You allow the image to expand.

You allow the images within that image to evolve.

You allow yourself to step into these images.

Open Your Eyes

You open your eyes.

You are no longer where you were.

You are within a new story.

You are within a new environment.

You allow the richness of this environment to come to you.

You appreciate the sights and sounds of this new story.

You appreciate the paths in front of you.

You allow memories of your life within this story to arise.

You allow places and spaces to arise.

You allow paths and possibilities to arise.

And, then, you pursue those that interest you.

You wander.

You explore.

You play.

You create.

And, in doing so, you recognize something.

You recognize that you are a part of this story.

You are a part of a great story that extends beyond your awareness.

You are a part of a great story that is infinitely rich with all that is desired.

You allow yourself to appreciate this story.

You allow yourself to appreciate what this story contains.

You enjoy this moment.

You enjoy the moments that follow.

Growing Into The Dream

You allow the moment to come and go.

You allow the moments that comprise that moment to ebb and flow.

And, then, you focus on one thing.

You focus on one thing that interests you.

You focus on that one thing until it is greater than it was.

You continue to focus on that one thing.

You allow the moments and stories within that one thing to arise.

You allow the memories and possibilities within that one thing to unveil themselves.

You allow your one thing to become specific.

You allow your one thing to develop tangibility and form.

You allow yourself to spend time with that one thing.

And, then, you allow that one thing to be that which is it, while you are the one you are.

You Say “Farewell”

You spend as much time as with your one thing.

You allow this time to give birth to all that you wish.

You allow this act of birth to surprise you.

And, then, when the time is right, you allow yourself to return.

You say “Farewell”.

And, within the moment that follows, you return to your space.

You return to your space and appreciate the moments that just occured.

And, then, you say “Thank You” to the Storytelling Engine.

You embrace this feeling of appreciation.

And, then, you open your eyes.

You are where you are now.

You are the “you” that read this essay.

You are the “you” that just returned from a journey.

Recording Your Journey

Right after you work with these images, you should record what happened.

You can record the images you experienced.

You can record the sensations you noticed.

You can record the unique ideas that came to you.

You can record the unique possibilities that arose.

And so on and so forth.

No matter what, record what, if anything, resonated with you.

You may find the inspiration you seek within what resonates with you.

Or, perhaps, the experience, in and of itself, resonated with you.

No matter what, record what will be useful for you, later on.

Conclusion

Your imagination is a gift.

A gift greater than any other gift.

You can use these images as a way of diving into the infinite riches of your imagination.
