Give Yourself Some Time To Dream

Our goal, with this essay, is to remember.

Or, more specifically, to give you what you need to remember.

To remember that your dreams matter.

And, in turn, to remember that you can, and should, nurture your dreams.

You can nurture your dreams and, in nurturing your dreams, they will arise.

The above is our contention. And, with that in mind, let’s begin.

Your Dreams Matter

Your dreams matter. Your wishes matter. Your desires matter. Your goals matter. Your yearnings matter.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

You have the right to dream. And, you have the right to nurture your dreams.

Your right to dream and nurture your dreams goes beyond all limits.

And, yet, there is one limit — one habit, if you will — that may be worth taking on.

Giving yourself a few minutes, every single day, to dream.

To dream and, in dreaming, to nurture your dreams.

You can give yourself those few minutes and, in doing so, your dreams will be brought to life.

Giving Yourself Some Time To Dream

You can give yourself some time to dream and, in giving yourself some dream, you can dream in many, many ways.

Out of all the ways in which you can dream, the ones outlined below are some of my favorite:

  • Going online and looking at images/listings of the things you want.
  • Sitting with yourself and musing on your interests, passions, and yearnings.
  • Watching videos of people enjoying the things you wish to enjoy.
  • Reading books about people who inspire you in one way or another.
  • Looking through Pinterest boards with images of what you yearn for.

You can dream in many, many other ways. But, the above are some of my most favorite.

Some examples of the ways in which you can dream are as follows:

  • Going online and looking at images of the places you wish to travel to/live in.
  • Sitting down and thinking about what really interested you as a young child.
  • Watching videos of people visiting the cities that you wish to visit.
  • Reading books about individuals who achieved the types of things that you wish to achieve.
  • Looking through Pinterest boards of the type of home you would like to live in.

Other examples exist. But, the above are some of my favorites.

Bringing Your Wishes To Life

You can give yourself some time to dream every single day.

And, if you do so, that is good.

But, there’s one other element that may be worth including.

The element, in question, is deliberate imagination.

Or, perhaps, deliberate feeling; the exact wording may not be very important.

No matter the wording, though, the essence is always the same: experiencing your wish as a present fact.

Just as an example, if you wish to travel through Taiwan, you can watch videos of people doing so.

And, in doing so, you can give yourself a moment to imagine that you are in Taiwan.

You can imagine that you are walking through the streets of, say, Taipei, sensing the heat and humidity flow through you, as you walk through a crowded alley towards a park you wish to visit.

Or, for that matter, you can imagine an infinite wealth of other things, pertaining to that dreams as well as an unending abundance of other dreams, desires, wishes, yearnings; ad infinitum.

You can do this once or twice and that is fine. But, you can do it far more often, on a regular basis.

If you imagine your wishes on a regular basis, and if you give them some genuine feeling, then they will manifest.

You may not believe this to be the case. But, my promise to you is that if you soak in the feelings of your wish every single day, over and over again, you will become convinced that your wish is a fact.

Or, more specifically, that it will become a fact, and that is that.

Conclusion

Your dreams are valid. And, you deserve to dream and to nurture your dreams.

Regardless of that, though, thank you so much for reading this essay!
