Getting The Books I Wanted To Read From A Brief Imaginal Scene

Our intention, with this essay, is sharing.

Sharing what?

A story from my own life that is connected to a method.

A Pleasant Night

On a night that wasn’t so long ago, a thought crossed my head.

No, sorry; before we go into that thought, let’s go over what this night consisted of.

I was lying in bed and it was very late.

And, while lying in bed, I was reading a book.

“From Nowhere,” by Eric Wargo.

A very interesting book on inspiration, creativity, art, and time; among various other things.

The book inspired me.

Inspired me to find other books on similar topics.

Right within that moment, an imaginal scene, of sorts, crossed my mind.

The imaginal scene consisted of the following: seeing seven new books on my Kindle reading app, each of which was focused on the topics that we mentioned earlier.

On top of this imaginal scene, a sense of appreciation, and gratitude, came over me.

Right after that, the imaginal scene came to an end, allowing me to fall asleep.

A Series Of Very Fortunate Events

The next day we were browsing the internet.

While doing so, we found a book called “American Cosmic.”

This led to a book called “Encounters.”

Right after that, we were led to “Inspiration.”

And so on and so forth.

A ton of books found their way onto my Kindle.

Many of these books were, and are, very inspiring, enriching, and transformative.

The whole thing was effortless.

Just flowing from one intuitive hunch to another, all of which led to the right books.

A Simple Method

Our method is very simple.

Give yourself a clear idea of the books you want to read.

Right after you do so, imagine a scene that implies you have these books.

If you use a Kindle, then imagine your Kindle library having several new books, on the topics you like.

Just see these books and, then, feel yourself flipping through them.

Or, for that matter, tapping on them; among a wide variety of other, equally legitimate, possibilities.

You can pair this with the act of appreciating the wonderful books you are reading.

If you can do this, and if you can feel it for just a moment, you will obtain the books you want.

Conclusion

Just to wrap this up, thank you so much for reading!

Best wishes and have a great day!
