Everything Is Taken Care Of
Statements and affirmations — along with other methods — are a source of debate and contention in various “New Thought” circles.
Even though their validity has been questioned, certain statements and affirmations have, in my own personal life, been very useful to me.
My intention, with this essay, is to share one particular statement with you.
You will learn what this statement is, my two most significant experiences with this statement, as well as how you can play with this statement and experience some pleasant results.
A Special Statement
The statement “Everything Is Taken Care Of” serves as a way of bringing you into a state.
A very particular state that may, in this moment, be of great use to you.
You can find the state this statement serves to facilitate within the implications of the statement.
Right now, at this moment, everything is taken care of.
Every problem or challenge you are encountering is no more.
Your problems and challenges were taken care of.
The specifics of this “taken care of” are vague.
No matter, though, for it was taken care of and, as such, you can enjoy peace and abundance, right here and right now.
For many of us — or, in truth, myself, for that is the only person I can speak of with certainty — it is far too easy to become lost in a sea of stress and anxiety that, more often than not, revolves around the various problems and challenges we are currently facing.
Many of these problems and challenges feel like great burdens. Great burdens that it is too easy to nurture with thoughts that continue to affirm the stress and anxiety they evoke.
Rather than engaging in such thoughts, and directing our creative energies in that manner, we can step into another state, allowing such feelings, and the situations they contain, to evaporate.
Stepping into this state — the state of “Everything Is Taken Care Of” — is easy.
Even more than that, though, the act of stepping into this state provides immediate relief, while also revealing new pathways and new possibilities that may provide great value.
To illustrate this claim, there is a story — a story based entirely on my experiences — that it would be lovely to share with you.
My Recent Experiences
Sometime in October or November of 2019 — the exact day has been forgotten — my life, it seemed, was falling apart.
My financial life, that is.
A combination of my income dwindling and reliable income sources falling apart, as well as a serious lack of savings — a mistake that I’ve chosen to never, ever make again — culminated in a situation that seemed catastrophic at best.
So, naturally, while dealing with this catastrophe, my emotions were intense.
I was stressed and I was anxious.
I was trying really hard to find work, to earn money, to find a solution — you get the idea.
Everything seemed blocked.
The presence of this supposed blockage only evoked greater stress and anxiety, gradually weakening my ability to relax and appreciate.
I remember feeling this way and, then, deciding to go on a walk.
I remember putting my shoes on and hearing a statement.
The statement was, as you might’ve guessed, “Everything Is Taken Care Of”.
I remember liking the words. I remember liking the peace they evoked.
So, for the duration of my walk — which was only fifteen-minutes or so — those words were repeated over and over, within my mind.
I remember saying these words in a peaceful, relaxed way.
In a way that told me that my fears and stresses were no more and that what was necessary was available, in this moment, even if it did not appear to be.
I remember coming home and taking a shower.
Right after my shower, I remember checking my email.
One of my main clients, at that time, had sent me some money.
$1,000, to be specific.
The money was for the next few weeks, for the articles he wanted me to write.
It was an “early payment”, so to speak, for the services I would soon render.
Even though various “New Thought” ideas were familiar to me, at the time, a part of myself insisted that this experience was a “mere coincidence”.
Since then, though, the true nature of this experience has become all the more clear.
To go along with that story, there’s another story that’s worth sharing.
Just two-weeks ago, while dealing with some uncertainty with my current work situation, the statement “Everything Is Taken Care Of” flowed through my mind, repeatedly, once more.
I repeated this statement, within my mind, while sitting back, in my chair, completely relaxed.
I checked my email, after getting up, and saw that a man had written to me.
The man, in question, was a client who wanted to hire me for a long-term writing assignment.
What’s funny about this is that the email was sent, upon opening it, “5 Minutes Ago”.
My meditation started ten-minutes prior to that email being sent.
A part of myself insisted that this, too, was a coincidence.
But, a greater part of myself knew, and continues to know, that it is both a coincidence, and an act that signifies the great creative power we all possess and are.
A How-To Guide
To step into the state of “Everything Is Taken Care Of”, for any situation or desire that you possess, there is very little that you must do.
Rather, all you must do is find a way to relax — you can use whatever method you prefer — and, then, just assume that the problems and blockages you are facing are taken care of.
Even if you aren’t entirely sure what you are facing, you can use this method.
Just assume that everything is taken care of, even if you aren’t sure how it will be.
To step into this assumption, repeating the statement “Everything Is Taken Care Of”, within your mind — or out loud, if you want — is more than sufficient.
You can do this for just a few-minutes and, if you are able to relax and feel that everything is, in fact, taken care of, then it will be.
So, just try it out. Just see what happens.
Let yourself assume that everything is taken care of. Let yourself assume that things are working out. Let yourself assume that you’ve moved beyond your problems.
Just try it out for a few minutes and see what happens!
Conclusion
Thank you so much for reading this simple, possibly somewhat poorly written, essay!
My hope is that you take a few minutes, when you can, to play with the notion that “Everything Is Taken Care Of”.
Even more than that, my greater hope is that doing so brings some lovely results into your life.
