A Shift In Perspective With Infinity

Our new essay serves as an exploration of infinity.

A rather brief, but unique, exploration of infinity.

So, with that fact in mind, let’s dive right into things!

A Pleasant Scene

Just imagine a vast, infinite ocean.

You are floating within the ocean.

Somewhere above you, is the surface.

You can see faint glimmers and glimpses of the surface.

But, nowhere below you, is the deepest depth of this ocean.

Right after this scene comes to mind, picture a small robot.

A small, bug-like robot.

Something that looks a little like a water skeeter. But, made of glass and metal.

The waters of this ocean are infinite. And, this robot’s purpose is, naturally, to explore this infinite ocean.

The infinite vastness of this oceans means that our robot will never reach any endings.

Or, for that matter, any limitations, boundaries, walls, ceilings, blockages, borders; and so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

The above is true, no matter how much space our robot crosses, within the ocean.

All of this leads to the central premise of our essay.

A Shift In Perspective

Right now, our small, little robot goes through six-inches of ocean, within a single second.

Even if our small, little robot does this for an infinite wealth of eternities, transcendent eternities, bodies of time that exist beyond all limits, conceptions, senses — ad infinitum — they will never, ever reach any endings, limits, boundaries, blockages; ad infinitum.

The funny thing about the above, though, is that it is true, no matter what.

If our small, little robot goes through infinite space every nanosecond then, despite going through infinite space in an infinite ocean, they would still never reach any endings, limits, boundaries; ad infinitum.

Even if our small, little robot actively went beyond infinity, time, space, language — ad infinitum — and explored using higher, transcendent — ad infinitum — ideas that belong to another dimension, they would still never, ever reach or find — ad infinitum — an ending, boundary, limitation; ad infinitum.

The same premise applies to any exploration or engagement — ad infinitum — with infinity.

Just as an example, if you have an infinite number of books, and you went through higher concepts of infinity — these are concepts that transcend infinity, quantities, language, numbers; ad infinitum — every, say, Planck Time, you would still never reach any endings, limitations, boundaries — ad infinitum — to that set of books.

The above is true, too, even if you “just” go through infinite books every second.

Or, even, infinite infinities and endless sets; ad infinitum

Conclusion

Just to wrap this up, thank you so much for reading!

If you enjoyed this essay, then that is lovely. But, if you didn’t, then, even so, thank you for reading.

Best wishes and please have a lovely day!
