Our intention, with this essay, is exploring.

Exploring what?

A method you can use to find an infinite wealth of passions, interests, pursuits; ad infinitum.

A Passion List

You have a passion.

No, sorry.

You have many, many passions.

Right now, think about your passions.

Go over them.

And, then, make a list of your passions.

Just five or so is fine.

My list is as follows:

  • Coming up with all sorts of different ideas, concepts; ad infinitum.
  • Writing essays.
  • Going on long walks to new places.
  • Reading books.
  • Making unique methods, systems, and tools; ad infinitum.

And so on and so forth.

A List Of Your Interests

You have many, many passions.

Just as you have many, many interests.

Go over some of those interests.

And, then, make a list of your interests.

My list is as follows:

  • Technology
  • Infinity.
  • Language.
  • Film.
  • Spirituality.

And so on and so forth.

The Combinatory Process

A truly infinite wealth of passions exist.

You can go through the passions that exist for unending eternities, super-eternities, transcendent visions of time.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

If you do so, you will never, ever, reach, find, or make any endings, limits, boundaries; ad infinitum.

The same is true of interests.

Given these notions, you can, with relative ease, find a wealth of new passions, and interests, that light you up.

Or, perhaps, you aren’t so much “finding” them, as making them?

Eh, that’s neither here, nor there.

To find new passions and interests, you can combine yours.

Just as an example, if you combine “Infinity” and “Reading books,” you get:

  • Learning about infinity in different contexts.
  • Reading books about infinity.
  • Writing my own book about infinity.
  • Producing essays centered on infinity.
  • Coming up with my own visions of infinity.
  • Reading books about mathematics.
  • Producing essays about my favorite things about infinity.
  • Reading academic papers about infinity.
  • Learning about the history of infinity.
  • Reading about how mathematics evolved.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

Or, if you combine “Coming up with ideas” and “Film,” we get:

  • Coming up with ideas for our own film.
  • Learning how to write a screenplay.
  • Producing a screenplay.
  • Taking a class on filmmaking.
  • Coming up with ideas for stylistic choices you would implement in a movie.
  • Producing a list of your favorite movies.
  • Watching a movie and paying close attention to the design of each shot.
  • Going over why your favorite movies are your favorites.
  • Making a list of the kinds of movies you would like to see made.
  • Coming up with ideas for an adaptation of a book you love.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

None of these are especially great. But, each one is rather interesting.

If you pursue one of these ideas, you might find a new passion.

Or, perhaps, a new series of interests.

The possibilities are infinite.
