We are all beings of light, energy, and imagination.

We go beyond the perceived limitations of the physical world. We go beyond the perceptions we have regarding our own Self and our own sense of who we are.

We are all beings of infinite creative power. Through this creative power, we can create, become, and experience anything that we desire.

Too often, it seems, we fall into the trap of failing to acknowledge who we truly are. Instead of surrendering to the truth, we surrender ourselves to forces that we believe are outside of us, and far larger than we are.

In my own life, this force has often been money. There have been numerous times and occasions where I have found myself in a situation regarding money that was, in my mind, less than ideal.

But, instead of surrendering to the truth of the situation, which is that I am far more powerful than my concept of money and that I can utilize the infinite creative powers within myself to transform the situation, I find myself falling into states of worry, uncertainty, and fear.

While my understanding of Self has only grown and become more pronounced, I still fall into those same patterns. As time passes, though, this is becoming less and less true, for I have made a dedicated effort to align myself with thoughts and feelings that are in direct alignment with the truths that I have come to understand and accept.

For many of us, though, it’s extremely easy to fall into patterns of thought and feeling that deny our own creative powers and our own beauty; patterns that suggest that we are small, weak, and worth far less than we truly are.

For myself, I find it easy to fall into patterns of thought that suggest that not only am I completely lacking in any sort of creative power or agency, but that I am pathetic, weak, and useless.

In my own life, there are three methods that I have found to be of extraordinary use, when it comes to realigning yourself with the truth of who you are and what you are capable of. These methods, while very simple, transform your thoughts and feelings the moment that you begin using them.

While I can’t say that these methods will work for you the same way that they work for you, I can say that, if you try them, you will find that they do have a certain effect. For you, this certain effect may be an exceptionally positive one, or it may be an effect that is less noticeable.

Regardless of the specific transformations these methods conjure, I guarantee that they will be positive and empowering, in one way or another.

Method 01: Transform Your Stance

The word “circumstance” is broken up into two Latin roots. These two Latin roots consist of “Circum”, and “stance”.

Circum is a Latin root that refers to the material conditions that are all around you. For example, the relationships that you have with the people in your life, the amount of money you earn, the house that you live in; along with just about every other material condition of your life.

Stance is a Latin root that refers to the way that you stand. Your stance isn’t just physical though — although, physicality plays a significant part in it — it’s also mental and spiritual. Your stance is the way that you see the world, the way that you engage with the world, and the way that you feel about the world.

To combine those two Latin roots leads to the word “circumstance”. Circumstance doesn’t just refer to the material conditions of our life, or the situations that we have found ourselves in, but also the stance that we are taking. This is because our stance in life, and the material conditions around us, are in direct alignment.

When we are feeling powerless and insecure, it is a virtual guarantee that our physical stance is one that only heightens those feelings. In my own experience, the stance that I take within those situations is one of being slouched, looking down, and walking in a manner that is both brisk and unfocused.

To transform your thoughts and feelings in those moments, you can adjust your physical stance and a transformation will take place.

Take A Deep Breath. Breathe In For Four, Hold For Four, And Release For Four.

Stand Up Nice And Straight.

Look Ahead Of You, To The Infinite Potentials And Possibilities That Lie Right In Front Of You.

Allow Yourself To Smile With Love, Joy, And Contentment.

You are a being of infinite creative power. You are the sculptor of your life and that which surrounds you. You are far more powerful and creative than you could ever imagine.

In transforming your physical stance, you transform your feelings and thoughts. Through this transformation of feelings and thoughts, you are able to understand and embrace the truth of who you are.

Method 02: Speak To Yourself

When it comes to engaging with the Imagination and exploring our infinite creative powers, I find that Inner Conversations are some of the most valuable tools that we have access to.

Through Inner Conversations, we are able to directly transform our thoughts, in the exact moment that we choose to do so.

When we transform our thoughts — the Inner Conversations that we are engaging with — we transform our feelings. When we transform our feelings, we transform the world around us.

In moments of perceived powerlessness and defeat, I find that a simple Inner Conversation is infinitely rewarding.

Since thought is, as a medium, infinite and vast in its potential, there is no specific Inner Conversation that you should have when feeling powerless or defeated. As such, I encourage you to simply direct your thoughts towards concepts related to your own creative power and the fact that you are far more powerful and far more beautiful than your current state would appear to indicate.

There are, however, times when our ability to simply redirect our concentration seems locked-away. For those occasions, I have three very particular sets of statements that I enjoy repeating to myself. In repeating these statements, I find that I begin a powerful Inner Conversation that transforms my thoughts, feelings, and immediate perception and understanding of the world around me.

I Am A Being Of Infinite Creativity. I Am The Sculptor Of Myself, My Life, And That Which Surrounds Me. I Make The Conscious Choice To Step Into And Use My Infinite Creative Gifts And Abilities.

I Have The Extraordinary Ability To Choose How I Concentrate And Direct My Endless Creative Gifts And Abilities. I Have The Extraordinary Ability To Choose Who I Am And What I Create. I Am Making The Best Possible Choices For Myself.

I Am A Being Of Infinite Creativity, And I Choose To Embrace My Infinite Creativity And The Gifts That Follow. I Choose To Accept And Embrace Who I Truly Am, And I Choose To Use My Gifts And Abilities To Live The Life That I Am Meant To Live. I Allow Myself To Live Freely, Creatively, Abundantly, And Lovingly.

As I engage with those words, I find that the awareness of who I truly am begins to envelop the feelings and emotions that I was engaged with before. And, as I continue engaging with the Inner Conversations, I find that the world around me takes on a far more vivid and vibrant tone.

Method 03: Surrender To Freedom

Each and every one of us possesses the ability to create and envelop ourselves in any particular feeling. To do so, we must simply make a choice. In making a choice, a sincere choice, to feel a particular feeling, we step into that new feeling and we transform our Self and that which is around us.

When I am feeling restricted, uncertain, and insecure, I remind myself of three things. First, that I am a being of infinite creativity. Second, that I can choose how I direct and use the infinite creative abilities that are at my disposal. Third, that in surrendering to a feeling of beauty, love, and joy, I transform the very moments that I am experiencing.

For a time, I surrendered to the feeling of power; power over myself, my life, and the situations and scenarios that took place within my life. But, as time passed, I found the feeling of power to be somewhat cold and detached. So, I made the decision to surrender to the feeling of freedom, rather than power.

To surrender to the feeling of freedom, I engage with a very simple, nearly effortless, process.

Take 7 Deep Breaths. In For Four, Hold For Four, Release For Four.

Repeat The Word “Freedom”. Allow Yourself To Feel Freedom.

Repeat The Statements “I Am Free” And “I Am Freedom”.

You Are Free. You Are The Force Of Freedom.

Allow Yourself To Be Free.

Make The Choice To Be Free And To Experience Your Infinite Freedom.

While engaging in that process, I find myself enveloped in the feeling of freedom. But, while enveloped in that feeling, I make a very particular choice. This choice is that of surrendering to the feeling of freedom.

In surrendering to the feeling of freedom, I surrender to the knowing that I am free to create that which I desire, that I am free to become who I truly am, that I am free to experience that which I choose to experience, and that I am free to live the life that I truly wish to live.

Each and every one of us is free to create, experience, become, and be that which we desire to be. To understand this, though, we must surrender to the feeling of freedom.

In doing so, we become aware of the truth, and we live from the truth. This truth is that we are all beings of light, energy, and imagination, and that we are far more powerful and far more beautiful than we could ever hope to understand.
