12 Unique Visions Of The Infinite — Part 02

You can find the first part of this essay series right here.

Just as you might assume, this essay contains three more unique visions of the infinite.

So, with that in mind, let’s begin!

Vision 04: A Neverending Dream

Our dreams, visualizations, and imaginal scenes are, as far as my experience suggests, bound to time.

The ebb and flow of time. The inherent linearity of time. The measurement of time.

And so on and so forth.

Just as an example, when we imagine another world, we are bound to the bodies of time we live within, as opposed to the bodies of the time that define the world we imagine.

But, what if that wasn’t quite the case?

Just imagine that, within your mind, there is a program.

A program that allows you to live, and immerse yourself, within your imagination.

No matter where you are, or what is going on, you can use this program.

You can step into a waking lucid dream, as it were, using this program.

But, that’s not all.

You can use this program and, in using it, give yourself an infinite wealth of time to experience the dream.

If you would like to spend an infinite wealth of eternities within this dream, then that is what you can do.

During this infinite dream, you can write, think, explore an infinite wealth of worlds, create things, meet new friends, listen to music.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

You might even be able to — within this fictional world/future, that is — transfer your memories — and, in turn, the things you made or thought, such as writing and paintings; ad infinitum — onto a device.

A device that lies outside of the dream, so that the two worlds may exist.

Exist as one.

Even if you do any of this, though, mere seconds will pass, within the world outside of your senses.

Just imagine that.

And, just imagine — or, know — that, even if you give yourself an eternity to live within this world, you would never, ever, reach an end, or boundary/conclusion — ad infinitum — to this period.

The infinity of eternity transcends, and goes beyond, all timelike limitations.

But, as per the context of this vision, it exists within a finite amount of time.

A mere second contains, and produces within itself, an infinite wealth of eternities.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

Something fun to think about, muse on, and enjoy.

Vision 05: The Endless Alphabet

Our language — well, no; the language this essay was written in — is composed of 23 letters.

Every single one of these letters allows for, and engenders, an infinite wealth of combinations.

Combinations. Associations. Connections. Links.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

You can use the finite set that is the alphabet to create an infinite number of unique words, phrases, statements, meanings, experiences, states of being.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

Even more than that, though, language is inherently self-reflective.

Or, perhaps, recursive.

You can employ language to expand, explore, and engage with — ad infinitum — itself.

And, in doing so, you can create an infinite wealth of new experiences, conceptions, visions, infinities — ad infinitum — for and within — ad infinitum — language, using itself.

The same is true of consciousness.

Our consciousness grows, expands, and evolves- ad infinitum — through the use of language.

The greatest work of art — transformation, possibility, transcendence — we have ever created.

Vision 06: Going Beyond Language

Our experience of the universe is rooted within, and grown from, language.

You can apply that same line of thought to infinity itself.

Our experience of infinity is rooted within, and grown from, language.

But, what lies beyond language? And, what lies beyond language, yet within infinity?

A neverending wealth of greater experiences, sensations, mediums of language, states of consciousness; and so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

Each one higher, and more transcendent, than the other.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

You can imagine an infinite network of higher, and greater, levels, each one containing an infinite wealth of sensations and languages and experiences — ad infinitum — that transcend the ones below them.

Every single one of these contains, and engenders through itself, an infinite wealth of new visions.

Visions. Experiences. Moments. Conceptions.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

Of our world. Of our self. Of infinity.

And so on and so forth, endlessly and infinitely; ad infinitum.

Conclusion

Our conception of infinity can never, ever encapsulate the vastness of infinity.

If you ask me, though, that’s a great thing!

Best wishes and have a fantastic day!
